Sandy maintains a conveyancing, banking, commercial and corporate practice which involves advising, reviewing and drafting documents and agreements ranging from sale and purchase agreements, development or construction agreements, lease or build and lease agreements, settlement agreements, deeds, memorandum of understanding, joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, share subscription agreements and security documents (including restructuring for corporate loan/facilities or project financing) for various financial institutions including Islamic financial institutions.
She has conducted and assisted due diligence exercises for public listed companies, which involve initial public offerings, rights issues, bonus issues, related party transactions and reverse takeovers. She has also reviewed and amended the memorandum and articles of association of private limited companies.
Sandy has also conducted researches and rendered advisory opinions to individual, corporate entities and financial institutions over various topics in Sarawak including lands, stamp duty, exemption of stamp duty, real properties gain tax, probate and administration of estate and other related issues.
Sandy also has litigation experience in banking recovery, corporate insolvency, contract, insurance, probate and administration of estate and industrial matters in the state of Sabah.
